Site utilities, grading and asphalt paving design is 100% complete. Water main, service stubs and fire hydrants installed throughout site. Sanitary sewer system and service stubs installed throughout site. Storm water system and retention basins installed. Perimeter fencing installed at Ott Road and Airport Road. Excavation and grading complete. All areas to be paved have been rocked and graded. Permanent electrical underground installed. Telecommunications conduit installed throughout the site. Permanent lighting for access roads installed. Temporary stabilization seeding installed. Two water wells drilled and tested, with one well approved for use. Extension of main water line from Highway 395 to EOTEC site. Sanitary sewer system installed, including lift station. Exhibitor and Trade Center designed and under construction (delivery in March 2016).

When will EOTEC host the Umatilla County Fair and Farm-City Pro Rodeo?

EOTEC will host the Umatilla County Fair and the Farm-City Pro Rodeo in the Summer of 2017.

I heard the EOTEC is short on money to complete the project?

A funding gap of $2 million exists between available resources (a total of $14 million from Federal, State, County, City of Hermiston and in-kind support), and the current $16 million estimate based on modest project needs identified by the EOTEC Authority Board and community stakeholder input.
